TJ Family Enterprises Nfp
TJ Family Enterprises, Nfp, is a non-profit agency tax-exempt agency that specializes in providing transitional and permanent housing programs to individuals and their families. There are a variety of reasons that some individuals find themselves displaced. This displacement or life transition can often lead to violence, senseless crime, and/or mental illness. The programs that are developed by the agency are tailored to fit the needs of at-risk and economically challenged children, youth, men, and women. Each activity is specifically designed to enhance positive self-esteem among every participant. Psychologists have historically accepted that self-esteem is comprised of three elements, a sense of belonging, competence, and self-confidence. These elements are essential within individuals, in order to facilitate a whole and healthy person. TJ Family Enterprises provides healthy participatory living situations within a safe and holistic environment. TJ Family Enterprises, Nfp has developed three TJ Learning Modules, which are:
- Module I - Life Skills Development
- Module II - Health & Healthy Living
- Module III - Eliminating Self-Defeating Behavior
