Chicago Thunder Semi-Pro Football ClubThe Chicago Thunder Semi-pro Football Club is a non-profit, athletic organization established in 1990. The Chicago Thunder are members of the Chicagoland Football League as well as a proud member of the American Football Association. The Chicago Thunder has set many goals for themselves beyond those of good sportmanship and competitiveness. These goals include:
The Chicago Thunder and the CFL are voluntary organizations which are solely responsible for the finances required to run both the league as a whole, and each individual game played within the league. Thunder and CFL games are played at Hanson Stadium on the city's north side, Gately Stadium on the south, and Luther South High School on the city's southwest side. By the way...the Chicago Thunder are the 1996 and 1997 CFL Champions! The first such titles, but not the last, in the team's history.
