Shepherd's HouseShepherd's House is a Christian-based shelter home for pregnant women of any age. We realize that not all pregnancies are planned. Not all couples are prepared to nurture and support a newborn child. All children, born and unborn, are a part of God's greater plan, and He has a place and a need for them in His Kingdom on Earth. Every life is unique...Every circumstance is different...so the personal services offered at our home are geared to every individual according to their need. We provide an inter-denominational community, rich in God's love, for expectant women. Up to 16 women live in comfortable, semi-private rooms. Our services are at no cost to the resident. We also provide food, clothing, Bible study and prayer, worship opportunities, transportation to appointments, support and friendship, help implement goals, a wide variety of classes, and more. A full-time Director and staff help manage the home and provide the necessary care. Our resources are limited but always are adequate to cover our services. We provide women with a working alternative to abortion. We are funded through private, church, and corporate donations of money, time and materials. Our home is fully paid for and most all of our funds go to direct support of the residents. Shepherd's House admits women of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally afforded or made available to women at the House. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of our care. You can help us by:
