Options & Advocacy, McHenry CountyOptions & Advocacy, McHenry County - It is the mission of Options & Advocacy to enhance the quality of lives of children and adults with disabilities through advocacy, the coordination of services, and community education. Child & Family Connections, a program of Options & Advocacy for McHenry County. Free Developmental Evaluations for children birth to three. For referrals and information call the Intake Coordinator at 815/477-4720, ext. 238 Options & Advocacy for McHenry County and Child & Family Connections present the 4th Annual "Get Connected!" Parent Conference on February 9th from 8:00a.m.-3:00p.m. at McHenry County College. This conference was specifically designed for the parents of children with delays/disabilities from birth through 21 years of age. Some breakout sessions include: Sensory, Advocacy, Health & Nutrition, Sibling Support, Government Resources/Financial/Future Planning, and many more! Social service agencies, support groups and vendors will be on-site to share valuable information. The cost is $35 per participant or $60.00 per couple, which includes lunch, as well as a lively keynote presentation. Scholarships are available through STAR NET's Family Fellowship Program and the ARC of Illinois Consumer Involvement Fund Program. Registration is required.
