Murphy Roche Irish Music Club
Murphy Roche Irish Music Club is a group of musicians who gather to play music socially. The music we play are traditional Irish tunes. For musicians who are not familiar with the genre, we will work with you to develop an Irish style. The club meets monthly, usually at the Pleasantdale Park District in Burr Ridge. Children are welcome at our meetings. In addition, we host a session at the Kerry Piper Restaurant and Pub in Willowbrook, Illinois, on Wednesday evenings, beginning at 8 p.m.
Murphy Roche Irish Music Club is a branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann (CCE), an international organization of Irish musicians, based in Dublin, Ireland. Members receive a free subscription to Treoir, a quarterly magazine from Ireland. As a member of CCE, you are a welcome participant at international events, such as the annual North American Convention, various music competitions, an international concert tour, and other events.
Thank you for your interest in our club. Call us to join: 630-662-8611. Dues are $20 for the first member of the household, $10 for each add'l adult in the household, and $5 for children. Maximum dues per family: $40.
