Irish Music Foundation / Academy of Irish Music of Chicago
The Irish Music Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, charitable and tax deductible organization founded in 1996 and dedicated to preserving the Celtic music tradition through teaching and performance.
To ensure that the Celtic tradition of music continues to be handed from generation to generation, the Irish Music Foundation has established the Academy of Irish Music of Chicago and supports its work by recruiting young students and accomplished Celtic musicians to teach; by providing students with traditional Celtic instruments; and by supporting their performances of traditional Celtic music.
