Benevolent Hands, Inc.Benevolent Hands is involved in assisting the needs of poor and impoverished groups in Latin America and the Caribben by providing specific relief, humanitarian, and aid goods to those who most need it. Our 501(c) status is applied for and pending. The organization has been organized under the laws of Florida set up as a non-profit 501(c) corporation. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." --- Margaret Mead Benevolent Hands, Inc. was formed as a nonprofit charity when its founder recognized the overarching needs of the people of Latin America and the Caribbean for medicines, medical supplies, and other goods - items which are readily and easily obtainable in the U.S. Benevolent Hands specializes in providing aid to the Caribbean and Latin America. Since its founding, Benevolent Hands has sent over-the-counter medicines and supplies to Nicaragua to aid clinics, hospitals, schools, and other Nicaraguan NGOs. The organization was direclty involved in sending Haiti Relief care kits to the country of Haiti, arranging for low and no-cost transport and shipping to assist the benefactor. Benevolent Hands has as its goal to effectively serve the needs of impoverished populations who have difficulty obtaining access to medicines and for whom the shortfall of available medicines is critical. Our program aims to improve the well-being of the Latin American/Caribbean population, support medical and nutritional education among the people, and assist in the free-flow of goods from the United States to these designated Latin American countries. Benevolent Hands is a proud supporter and direct proponent of Millienium Goals.
Our volunteers and founder share a common goal: to improve the flow and delivery of medical supplies from the first world (the United States) to the third-world and developing countries of Latin America.
