Mine Victims Association of Karlovac County (KUZM)
KUZM gathers all injured by mines (de-miners, civilians, soldiers). KUZM is an independent, voluntary, non-partisan and non-profit organization that its members provide informational, educational and technical support in the psycho-social, humanitarian activities and protect the interests of victims of mines, enabling each member of autonomy, but also a common appearance and impact on the creation of system solutions for the realization of the rights of mine victims in Croatia.
The Association operates in the area of Karlovac County, but works with individuals and other NGOs outside the County. Association to care about all victims of land mines and unexploded residual funds, and the family members of deceased victims of mines or casualties, regardless of whether they died as civilians, soldiers and de-miners in mine suspected area (MSA) or outside the MSA. Special care is devoted to children who were killed by mines.
