Kin CanadaKin Canada was founded in 1920 by Hal Rogers. Today this non-profit organization is made up of over 500 Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin clubs across the country. These clubs are made up of people who are volunteering to better serve their communities and to directly benefit numerous Canadian charities such as the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Kin Canada has raised over 37 million dollars to fund Cystic Fibrosis research and over 1 billion dollars to help Canadian communities and the people who live in them. Kin Canada's mission is "Serving the Community's Greatest Need", which is different in each area of the country. Kin build play parks, sports stadiums, homes for those less fortunate, purchase health related equipment for the disabled, donate food and toiletries to those who need it, and buy gifts for children at Christmas. Whatever the community or it's members need, Kin Canada helps to provide it. Visit the Kin Canada home page. |
