Women's Empowerment
The mission of Women's Empowerment is to empower women who are homeless so that they have the confidence and skills to return to the work force, become self-reliant, and pursue permanent housing for themselves and their children. By providing classroom training, mentoring, and support in a nurturing and educational environment, women address the multiple barriers to a stable lifestyle and begin their journey envisioning themselves beyond homelessness and despair. Women’s Empowerment provides a vital sanctuary where hope, dignity, and self-determination guide the women to become the authors of their own lives as they secure means of support, housing, and a healthy lifestyle.
