Vaca Fish
We are a local food bank serving the residents of Vacaville, California 5 days a week. Vaca Fish is strictly a volunteer effort. We receive no public support and depend entirely on local residents and business for donations of food and money. Although we have no Church Affiliation, Bethany Lutheran Church has donated an office in their multi-purpose room where people needing food can visit or call. Some 80 plus volunteers staff the office, bag the food, distribute it, purchase replenishments and stock the pantry. We have no paid employees.
We have served over 2400 people during the preceding six months.
