The Spirit & Truth Communications Network
What is Spirit & Truth Communications Network (STCN)?
The vision for the Spirit & Truth Communications Network is national, then global in bringing inspirational and entertainment programming. STCN provides a fresh and innovative programming approach designed to meet the needs of a very diverse inspirational market. STCN targets the millions of Americans back into traditional family values as well as enables its affiliates to comply with the growing demand for Christian and Family ethical and moral programming. Our program menu is dedicated to the prosperity of character in children and teens as well as adults. Build the moral character of individuals, a city will change, then a state, then a nation is impacted. People are looking for solutions to troubling and challenging issues which dramatically effect every family. Many of STCN’s programs offer great insight and powerful resolutions. STCN offers wholesome entertainment for the whole family. STCN’s programming consists of concerts which feature many outstanding artists of today, children’s programming, cinema theater, health, business, comedy, drama, ministries and the list goes on.
Methodology & Approach
Our Approach is a 3-step process; meeting, maturing and multiplying. By design, our strategy guides individuals from the point of “checking out” The Spirit & Truth Communications Network, to experiencing who we are, and then becoming a part of us. Ultimately, our desire is to see people understanding how God has gifted them so that they may impact the lives of others. As individuals understand this, they will minister to their community, their region and ultimately, their world.
Helping individuals to understand more about S.T.C.N will be a 3-fold process which entails Power Evangelism, Film/Television Production and target events (i.e. The Spirit & Truth Center for Evangelistic Studies, The Spirit & Truth Youth Television workshop Jesus Java coffee house etc.). There will also be large-scale attraction events, with such possibilities as: The New Believers Convention, The Impact Christian Film Festival, “Take back the Land” evangelistic crusades etc., that allows people to experience S.T.C.N. in a broader atmosphere and fuller context.
Maturing, the process of becoming fully devoted followers of Christ, will have many facets. At the center of this process will be our worship services that will be marked by celebrative, heart-felt worship and relevant teaching of God’s word that encourages people to investigate Christianity, challenges them to personalize the message and equips them to face the challenges of life. This process will be broadened with a variety of seminar-type training events. Some of the seminars that will be offered include: Networking (understanding how God uniquely makes individuals and equipping them to utilize their giftedness, battle cry an interactive multimedia spiritual bootcamp for training our youth to be victorious against the forces of Darkness, in addition The Road to Revelation, The struggle of my agenda, Living life abundantly, A present help in the time of trouble, etc. . . .
Spirit & Truth Cell Groups will also be a big part of the maturing process. These groups will consist of 6-12 adults. Their main focus will be to provide compassionate care and authentic, enduring relationships. They also grant a wonderful platform for in-depth study of God’s word that provides instruction and offers power and peace in today’s difficult world.
Family Community will be frequently planned events that will be marked by fun and the opportunity to interact with other constituents of Baldwin Hills. Each of these events will be unique. Some will be designed for the whole Los Angeles County family, while others will be targeted for specific segments. Again having fun and sharing in community will be the main focus of these gatherings.
Transmitting The Truth Of The Gospel Is Our Main Objective
Presently we are developing two new projects:
1. Standup -- an exciting youth magazine program featuring some of the most exciting musical artists, professional athletes, and ministers in the world today empowering our youth for the challenges of the next millennium, available for national cable television placement
2. Refuge -- a story of a man caught within a complex web of inner turmoil and indecision concerning his promise to a struggling community and his lust for power and fame this will be an independently produced feature length motion picture.
Multiplying
“Making a difference” is so important to us. It is our ultimate desire is to not only to equip and empower people for service according to their passion and anointing but also to instill within them a vision for multiplying the hope of Christ that they have in others. God has indeed gifted each individual in such a way that they can find a place of meaningful service within the Center, and make a unique contribution, not only to the Ministry, but in the lives of individuals. As a Ministry without walls, it is our passion to be a multiplying body. We want to establish new Media ministries in areas that are in need of a vital, dynamic influence for Christ.

· They have a hard time seeing any relevance in Christianity

· They would rather maintain their anonymity in a large group than being in a small group
· They are skeptical of “organized” religion
· They like contemporary music
The Vision
The vision of an organization is a “snap shot” that captures a view of their desired future. In the opening paragraphs of this prospectus, several statements are made concerning the vision that The Spirit & Truth Communications Network has. Those vision remarks, as well as the other glimpses of our future that are stated below, hope to conceptualize our future reality from God’s perspective, realizing that He desires to bless His people and He desires the Body of Christ to dynamically impact the world.
