MuttShack Animal Foster and Rescue Foundation
MuttShack Foster and Animal Rescue, creates foster homes for abandoned and abused animals. We rescue animals from shelters, rehabilitate and nurture them to health in our homes(called muttshacks)and find them quality, permanent new families. By intervening and rescuing shelter animals about to be put to sleep, we stop the senseless killing of healthy animals in overcrowded shelters. We spay, neuter and find loving and willing guardians.
You can help us Stop the Killing of Healthy but Homeless Animals. Become a part of the new animal rescue revolution. Join Us! Muttshacking is the only solution to get millions of lost dogs and cats off the streets and out of shelters. Fifty-six percent of dogs and seventy one percent of cats that enter shelters are euthanized. About 9.6 million animals are euthanized every year.

It costs $101 to bail out a dog, and $86 to bail out a cat. Muttshackers personally pay these costs, including medical, food, housing, transportation and training costs. We would like to assist them in undertaking this heavy burden.
