Lady B Ranch Therapeutic Horseback Riding ProgramThe Lady B Ranch is a Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program for children and adults. Duplicating physical therapy and occupational therapy on horseback, has yielded numerous successes since the ranch became operational in 1989. Every mental and physical disability has been represented. Currently, Loma Linda University sends senior occupational and physical therapy students for training in the various modalities. The Ranch goal is to improve the quality of life and self-esteem of every rider. In 1997, three children left their wheelchairs behind to walk. Won't you help us to continue to help the disabled "look over the fence instead of through it?" Riders come to the ranch 2 to 3 times a week for therapy. Our goal is to increase our facilities so we may provide a live-in summer camp to disabled children, as well. |
