JL Davis Family Resource Center
The JL Davis Family Resource is a 501 c3 non-profit organization located in Hayward, CA. The Center has served the Bay Area and Southern Alameda County community since 2003. The organization is designed to be a comprehensive support system for families living in the the South Garden area of Hayward, and its surrounding areas, which are challenged with the task of growing up in high-risk communities. Our mission is to build healthy families in the African American community through family strengthening educational programs and support services in order to improve the well-being and educational outcomes for our children, with an emphasis on single parent households. We accomplish our mission by working through the African American faith-based community in partnership with both public and private agencies.
