Impact Online (http://www.impactonline.org) is an Internet-based nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing volunteerism. Impact Online's (IOL) premiere service, Volunteer America, matches volunteers with nonprofits and public sector agencies nationwide. The service is free for both volunteers and organizations.

Volunteers input their zip code and receive a list of volunteer events that fit a variety of interests and schedules. Nonprofits and public sector agencies can register their organization and list volunteer opportunities directly on IOL's web site.
