Community Arts and Cultural Enhancement (CommunityACE)Our mission is to help talented, dedicated groups and individuals get the resources they need to bring cultural and creative arts into to the communities that need them most. By mentoring grant seekers through the entire funding process, Community ACE hopes to turn creative ideas into much-needed community arts and culture programs. We are a 501(C)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization offering a range of information and technical assistance including administrative and project management. Resources include: CommunityACE Resource Library: Community ACE Resource library includes information on almost 500 targeted and local funding sources. The library also contains publications and information on a wide range of resources for community-based arts and cultural programs, on internet resources and on copyright, incorporation, tax and, corporate codes and procedures and much more. Technical Assistance: Beginning in the fall of 1998 we will offer workshops on funding information, Grant seeking and fundraising skills, proposal writing, using the internet and more. Grants management: CommunityACE not only helps to find funding and resources for projects. We can also provide grants management and administrative services for projects that are successfully funded. CommunityACE will take care of the accounting and invoicing, employee payroll, (benefits, taxes, insurance), telecommunication and secretarial services. This way projects can concentrate on what they do best, delivering the best possible arts and cultural programs to the community.
