Bridge to Success Group Homes, Inc.
Our Purpose--
Bridge to Success Group Homes, Inc. operates an 8 bed facility located in Ceres, California (roughly half way between Stocton and Merced in Stanislaus County). Since being founded in 1995 by Daniel Simpson, we have provided treatment services to adolescent males (ages 10-17) placed with us by county welfare agencies and probation departments who have emotional and behavioral problems, including, but not limited to:
- substance abuse
- unlawful conduct/conduct disorder
- emotional/physical/sexual abuse victims and/or offenders
- depression
- difficulty with social skills/decision making
Each client will be evaluated by the treatment team, in concert with the placement agency. A comprehensive individual needs and services plan will be developed which will form the basis for the interventions and services provided to each client in the program. Based upon the individual client's needs, some and/or all of the following services will be provided to him:
- medical, dental, psychiatric assessments
- psychotherapy (individual, group, family)
- substance abuse counseling (group, individual)
- education (academic, consumer, vocational, etc)
- family reunification counseling
- emancipation preparation (independent living skills, etc.)
- recreational activities
- social skills modification
- behavioral modification
Central to the Bridge to Success behavioral management and treatment program is a level system intended to assist clients make positive changes in their behavior. In each level, there are increasing expectation and responsibilities.
- Risk- clients are placed on this level due to significant rule violations/ongoing pattern of non compliance.
- Orientation- new clients are placed on this level upon admission to program.
- Existing- clients move here from orientation after becoming familar with program and rules.
- Progress- clients move here from existing after exhibiting progress on issues/program
- Responsible- Clients move here from Responsible and is an indication of
increased responsiblity for self and issues.
- Achievement- clients who work on their program consistantly over extended period/pre graduate level.
Bridge to Success Group Home has an excellent staff and administration team. We have a total of 14 full and part time on-line staff (including administration) with a combined 70 plus years of experience in the child care field.
