ANAND Society will offer humanitarian, ecological aid regardless of race, creed or nationality of recipients and without adverse distinction of any kind. Instead, humanitarian, ecological aid priorities are calculated on the basis of human need.

ANAND Society has been working in the Guntur District since 1994, and ANAND Society registered December 17th, 1999 under the Indian Societies Registration Act.

ANAND has undertaken various activities and programs for people suffering with poverty, illiteracy and ignorance

Since 1994 the mission of ANAND Society has been to assist in the capacity building and empowering disadvantaged women and children of downtrodden communities to positively influence their own lives, the lives of their families, and positively promote the health within their communities, doing so with positive, affirming recognition, respect, and reliance. ANAND Society has also focused on helping youths develop contemporary survival skills, including computer skills and small business administration skills.

Since 1999, ANAND Society broadened its activities to include rural, tribal, and urban areas of Andhra Pradesh, India. ANAND Society has been implementing various welfare activities to the poor, downtrodden, and illiterate. ANAND Society has also at times had to sensitize people pertaining rural mob issues concerning self-protection, the value of education, environmental protection, health, and sanitation et cetera.

ANAND Society educates poor and disadvantaged people about prevailing medical diseases and health hazards associated with impoverished environments. ANAND Society helped in disaster relief camps during catastrophic tsunami and other flood prone areas of Andhra Pradesh, including regions within Guntur District and neighboring Krishna and Godavari districts of Southeast India during 2004 to present day 2007 tragic conditions. ANAND has provided food provisions, and distributed clothing, and administered medicines in various places of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, India during disaster relief efforts.

Through ANAND Society, Bala Kumar Miriyala provided and coordinated health care efforts and educated people living in naturally devastated or otherwise ecologically impoverished areas since 1994. ANAND Society has acted toward: enlightening rural masses concerning basic, unalienable human-rights; eradicating gender disparities in society; protecting children, eliminating child labor, and promoting education by adopting ‘learn-to-earn’ projects; providing opportunities to rural women for self sustainability by following self-help programs; encouraging culture and heritage of humanity through (and by way of) increasing awareness; providing disaster relief assistance to victims of natural calamities by providing food, clothing, and shelter; educating the downtrodden and outcast members of society by encouraging ecologically-sound, science-based agricultural programs for rural peasants; strengthening working relationships by extending help and concern toward vested, mutual objectives with other social organizations for the restoration of wholesome and healthy aquatic, terrestrial, and atmospheric environments.

In the past, the people of ANAND have educated the rural poor and destitute people and survivors of natural disasters and tragedies. ANAND’s past efforts have been primarily reactive. Presently, ANAND has learned of sound ecological ways to address global, environmental problems. We of ANAND have discovered scientific, ecological ways to proactively create land stewardship opportunities to impoverished people around the world. ANAND will create this approach specifically to counter the effects of global-warming and rainforest-destruction in countries the world over.

ANAND will continue to educate and employ the poor and downtrodden members of society creating land stewards, and some land-owners, with vested interest in a wholesome sustainable future for large numbers of diverse people around the globe. ANAND will apply best business practices to coordinate between all levels of private, local, state, and national people and departments. The actions of ANAND will promote a vital, diverse environment filled with the life of many living species, some perhaps for food, and others perhaps used for naturopathic herbal treatments. Ultimately, areas affected by ANAND may become future, sensitive, environmental tourist centers, quite possibly generating sources of income, which may turn out to be a viable form of debt relief for poverty stricken nations—due in large part to the arms/weapons race for fear of man against man mentality in addition to prevailing thinking of man conquering nature.

This organization has informed us they are qualified under their local country tax law to receive tax deductible contributions.
