AIDS Walk San Francisco
AIDS Walk San Francisco is California's largest AIDS fundraising event. On July 20, 2008 over 25,000 people of all ages and backgrounds will come together as a demonstration of unity that seeks an end to the suffering caused by HIV/AIDS. Proceeds benefit the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and numerous HIV/AIDS organizations throughout the Bay Area. As a volunteer, you are a critical component to a successful AIDS Walk San Francisco 2008. From now until July 20th, the AIDS Walk office needs volunteer assistance with projects that range from assembling walker kits and mailings to volunteer recruitment for the day of the event. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join a group of fun volunteers in a relaxed atmosphere or for a whole group to come and support this extraordinary event. The AIDS Walk office is open on Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please call the Volunteer Coordinator, Dianna Cavagnaro at (415) 615-9255 or email at diannac@aidswalk.net to get started!
