Colegio de Abogados de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires
The Association of the Bar of the City of Buenos Aires is a non profit private and voluntary organization which is funded with the help of paying members and donations and which, since 1913, has tried to make a difference in enforcing liberty, tough ethical rules of conduct, and the independence of the judiciary in Argentina.
Our Association tries to make a difference to the people of Argentina by promoting fairer laws and trying to ensure the independence of the Judiciary
The Association's Research Center is a top ranked center for studies and the presentation of practical proposals for change. The Center is also maintained by private donations.
The Association also has a Volunteer Center which has been running for over 85 years (the oldest in Argentina) and which gives legal advise to low income persons thus guarantying, as far as possible, their access to Justice.
